This invented scene of the US invasion of Santo Domingo on April 28th,1965, shows the Women of April readying to engage the 42,000 marines sent in by LBJ, as the sky is flooded with US helicopters from the Intrepid . The title of the piece is from epic poem “La Tregua de los Mamíferos” by Dominican poet Alexis Gomez-Rosa.
